I make putters because it is fun. I truly believe all we need is an outlet for our creative side. I also believe we all do have a creative side, whether it’s your garden, woodworking, writing, painting, cooking, or whatever fuels your passions. I enjoy metal smithing. I was inspired by the book, The Clubmaker’s Art, by Jeffery B. Ellis. The book is a collection of clubs made in the 19th and early 20th centuries. These are art pieces made by artisans. I want to be part of this tradition.
I make functional art pieces. Since I love the art of the short game, specifically putting, I make putters. Additionally, I make unique and fun ball marks and ball mark tools. I cast a limited number of putters of each design, then retire the mold. Because the patina on each is done individually, every putter is one of a kind. I can do semi-custom putters. Let me design one for you or pick a putter that is currently in production.
